Collaborative projects
Here's a showcase of my collaborative endeavours. Each project reflects a unique blend of teamwork and storytelling.
ScratchThat Magazine 'Autumn 2025' - Vandalised
During this project I worked as part of the copyediting team, where I contributed my skills to professionally edit a range of creative works from poems, short stories and social media content to ensure a high standard and continuity across all platforms.
During this project, I discovered how to collaboratively edit and better determine how we as a group meet timelines.

This audio drama, Crime Exposed, is a mockery of the true crime genre and as a group we developed and brainstormed a podcast which depends upon tropes of unrealistic delusions about serial killers, over-the-top podcast hosts and callings cards. During the writing process I collaborated with another creative writer to bring the groups vision to life. From there I developed a proposed idea, I would manage Episode One and Episode Three, while the other creative writer primarily handled Episode Two and Episode Four. Additionally, Episode Five was a collaborative piece which required in depth communication to develop the finale that Crime Exposed deserves.

WILL: Hello and welcome to another episode of your favourite true crime podcast, Crime Exposed, where we investigate yet another horrific serial killer, never to have been caught. I’m your co-host Will, and this is—
BARTY: I’m Barty, the good cop to your bad cop.
WILL: Yes, what a pair… but anyhow, today we are looking at the Backshot Butcher—
BARTY: Wild name.
WILL: Yes… and we will be looking at this serial killer’s rampage that lasted from just 2021 to 2022, leaving five victims in its wake. Five different methods of murder, different places and yet…
BARTY: They were all on their hands and knees when found.
WILL: Exactly, Barty. Today we will be speaking with Natalie Ward. Natalie was witness to the Butcher’s first killing and was nearly a victim herself.
BARTY: Hey Natalie, thank you so much for joining us here today! Would you care to introduce yourself?
NATALIE: Sure, yeah… I’m Natalie, my friends were victims of this “Backshot Butcher”. I watched it all unfold at my uncle’s Florist… Funnily enough, I still work there… It’s so weird to be bringing this up again.
BARTY: Does it feel like that was over four years ago?
NATALIE: No… maybe that’s what makes it harder. How could that much time have passed?
WILL: Alright, Natalie take us back to that night on January 15th, 2021. How’d it start?
BARTY: Willy! You need to be more sensitive. Take your time, sweetie.
NATALIE: No, it’s okay. (Deep breath)
NATALIE: Okay… here we go. It started at the market where my uncle’s florist always had a stall…
SFX: Harp sounds, drifting into the story.
Episode Three - The Stillet-Hoe Homicides
We will be talking with Samuel about the events that took place on August 20th, 2021. We will discuss how the Butcher stalked Samuel, before reserving the entire restaurant to kill his two coworkers and new-found friend.

WILL: Hello, and welcome back to another episode of Crime Exposed, where we delve into the Backshot Butcher’s third killing. We’ve seen death by strangulation and blunt-force trauma, but today in true fashion, he has changed again…
BARTY: You could say that again.
WILL: He has changed again… to using a new method of murder.
BARTY: A new method and another chance to explore yourself...
WILL: Today we will be talking with Sam, who witnessed a merciless stabbing with the strangest of weapons…
BARTY: Perhaps the kinkiest kind of penetration…
WILL: Okay moving on, Samuel how are you today?
SAM: Umm good, and sorry, but Sam is actually short for Samson… not Samuel.
WILL: Oh, my apologies. The sheet sai—
BARTY: Willy! Excuse him, he’s having a bad day — normally he doesn’t seem to have an issue with length… of names that is. Only six inches, sorry letters...
WILL: This is gonna be a long day. Sam would you please tell us about the events which took place on the 20th of August 2021.
SAM: Okay, I didn’t know Theo that well, at all actually. But I had seen him earlier that day and our paths seemed to cross over… like I was being primed to be a witness.
WILL: Hmmm… it certainly is odd, the question is, is it far-fetched to think that maybe the Butcher was leading you to the crime?
BARTY: Are you often led on, Willy?
WILL: What?
BARTY: Nothing.
SAM: I saw him first in the morning…
SFX: Harp sounds, drifting into the story.
This photo displays my willingness to step outside of my comfort zone as I got involved with voice acting for Episode One, with my intention to work as a transdisciplinary creative practitioner.
Episode Five - It's Not You, It's Meat
On the 15th of March 2022, Gemma was alone at her work, when a fake delivery man left her beaten and bruised but alive.
Today we will discuss the mystery of this final attack, and maybe answer why did the Backshot Butcher start this year long reign of terror?
Excerpt from Script:
4 – INT: Recording Studio
SFX: muffled arguments and yelling voices get louder and closer
BARTY: It’s been pretty noisy back there. (Deep sigh) We’re still recording. Willy, you go check it out. Sounds like Matty is having a hard time.
WILL: Why me?
BARTY: We can’t let our guest sort our internal affairs.
WILL: And you can’t because?
BARTY: Being the diplomat is your job. You're our producer’s favourite.
SFX: Door slammed in, heavy footsteps.
MATTHEW (PRODUCER): Sir, you cannot enter. Security will be here soon.
BARTY: We actually have that here?
WILL: I think Matt is just bluffing
NAME: Out of my way.
NAME shoves the producer.
MATTHEW: (Groan in pain)
WILL: Who are you?
BARTY: Matty, you should’ve tried harder to stop him.
BARTY: Still, I can’t believe we have such rabid fans.
NAME: You could say I’m a fan.
BARTY: Mind introducing yourself, handsome? You're not much to look at but I’m sure you have other ways to make up for it.
WILL: Bart, we’re still recording.
BARTY: They can cut this out.
WILL: If this turns into a scandal—
NAME: You won’t have to worry about that.
NAME: You people won’t be here for long.
BARTY: What the?
GEMMA: Just so you know, I’m still here. If anything happens, you guys are liable.
